Adrian Kucharczyk

Currently a lead engineer (SRE) at one of the Big Tech companies. My career spans full-stack development, data engineering, and developing globally distributed teams.

My degrees in Mechatronics and Computer Science gave me a systems-thinking foundation I still use every day.

Outside of code, I'm obsessed with how great teams work: how trust is built, decisions are made, and environments are created where people can do their best work. Great teams start with good processes and people who genuinely care.

I'm spending a lot of time with generative AI - exploring its capabilities, limitations, and the real value it brings in the hands of experienced engineers. This has motivated me to contribute more to open source and to finally work on my own products, which I'd been putting off for years due to lack of time. Away from the keyboard I'm a husband and, recently, a father. I climb mountains, ski, shoot, play golf, and stay active. I'm part of the Elite Performance Collective - a community of people who expect more from themselves.
